Underlord — Fix Overlord Freezes & Simplify Figma Assets for Storyboarding

I built Underlord to solve two recurring problems in my workflow:

1. simplifying complex UI screens for storyboarding
2. preventing Overlord from freezing when importing from Figma.
   

Running Underlord on a frame does the following in one click:

• Removes Auto Layout
• Detaches components
• Detaches text styles, variables, and other linked properties
• Deletes hidden layers

The result is a baked-down version of your design that’s easier to manipulate and more reliable when sending to After Effects through Overlord.

I’m not a developer—I used ChatGPT and Cursor to put this together for my own needs. Since it ended up working really well, I’m sharing it in case it helps anyone dealing with the same issues.
